Campers will explore the basics of robotics and computer programming through engaging hands-on activities and collaborative projects.
Beginner coders will start with an introduction to coding using Microsoft Makecode, a user-friendly, block-based programming language that lets kids create their own interactive stories, games, and animations.
For Middle schoolers and experienced younger coders, we offer a Python coding track. Python is a versatile programming language that’s great for budding developers.
All campers will then apply their coding knowledge to work in small groups to build and program their own robots using kits that include programmable sensors, motors, lights and digital displays. They’ll learn how to make their robots move, respond to their environment, and complete challenges. This hands-on experience encourages teamwork and problem-solving skills as campers collaborate to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
